Dr. Can Güldüren is a faculty member at OSTİM Technical University, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Head of the Department of Software Engineering. He completed his education as follows: Bachelor’s degree at the Turkish Military Academy (Business Administration), Middle East Technical University (Computer Engineering Education), Master’s degrees at Ankara University (Computer Education and Instructional Technology) and Selçuk University (Management and Organization), and Ph.D. at Ankara University. Between 1998 and 2009, he served in the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) in various roles such as personnel information systems analyst, system developer, team leader, database designer, and project manager. From 2009 to 2013, he worked as the project manager of the ASOS project in coordination with the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries (SSM) and Havelsan. In his academic career, he worked full-time at Ufuk University and part-time at Atılım University, National Defense University, and Başkent University. He has published numerous articles and book chapters within his area of expertise and presented many papers at international conferences. His research interests generally include information security, internet programming, educational social networks, augmented reality, artificial intelligence and virtual reality, health informatics, e-learning, new learning technologies, personal learning environments, technology-supported applications, and database management systems (DBMS).
